Northwood Adult Day programs offer a safe, therapeutic daytime environment for dependent adults over the age of 50 with a diagnosis of: Alzheimer Disease, dementia, stroke, Parkinson Disease or who may be physically frail. With locations throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality, the Adult Day program offers caregivers a daytime break from the daily stresses of caregiving.

Our Dementia Day Programs, located at our Halifax site and at our new building located in West Bedford, are focused on those living with Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease. Our Adult Day Centre, operated in partnership with the Capital District Health Authority, has programming focused on those who are physically frail.
